During a survey we test your electrical installation and your electrical equipment.
Among other things we test the following:
- Resistance of the earth (according to the Reglamento de Baja Tension 2002: once a year in the driest period)
- Residual current device: the trigger time, the trigger tension and the maximum tension during bodily contact in case of a fault
- Insulation: during this measurement existing defects on cable will be displayed. Faults in the insulation can cause seemingly unfounded tripping of the Residual current device.
- Visual inspection of the distribution box and the rest of the electrical installation
- how many kilowatts you have contracted with the Endesa
- If requested we also check how old your Boletin is and if a new Boletin is needed in case you would like an electrical upgrade.
This fire caused by a faulty residual current device could have been avoided. Potential defects, like faulty cables, which can be very dangerous, can be detected and repaired.
